We have a problem today with the NSA and others exploiting weak links in Internet security to spy on the entire world, twisting the Internet we love into something it was never meant to be: a glass prison.
So far we aren’t able to stop targeted attacks, but it’s possible to curb mass surveillance, by building proven security into the everyday Internet.
Reset the Net has developed a plan: First, get hundreds of sites and apps to add proven security (like SSL). Then on June 5, everyone should run a splash screen everywhere to spread NSA-resistant privacy tools. This plan also includes sending tweets to Corporations like Samsung, FaceBook, and Microsoft, to name a few.
